ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (September 2023) – Freeda  Kulo (aka Luis Martinez) was crowned Miss’d America 2024 on Saturday, September 9^th at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, along with 1^st Runner-up, Dallas Dubois and 2^nd Runner-up, LaLa Wiggy

A bevy of nine beauties competed in the Sound Waves Theater in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City in swimsuit, talent, evening gown, and question and answer.  Returning host Carson Kressley, along with the Miss’d America dancers and the Melanie Rice Orchestra entertained the sold-out crowd during category changes. 

A portion of the proceeds from the 2023 Miss’d America Pageant will be distributed to various LGBTQ supportive charities. Since its inception, the pageant has donated over $500,000.00 to multiple organizations. 

Miss’d America 2024 took home the crown, sash, and a $5,000.00 cash prize.  1^st and 2^nd Runner-ups received $2,500.00 and $1,500.00 respectively.

2021 MISS’D AMERICA PAGEANT CELEBRATING ITS 30^TH YEAR 

INSIDE EXPANDED VENUE OF HARD ROCK LIVE AT ETESS ARENA 

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (August 17, 2021) – Miss’d America LLC is pleased to announce that the 30^th Miss’d America Pageant will return to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.

This year’s pageant will take place on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 8 p.m. in Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena and will once again feature lavish sets, incredible numbers, a “Queens” night at the opera theme led by the reigning Miss’d America 2020-2021 Sapphira Cristal, along with returning host Carson Kressley and a special performance by Grammy award winner Thelma Houston. 

A portion of the proceeds from the 2021 Miss’d America Pageant will be distributed to various LGBTQ supportive charities. Since its inception, the pageant has donated over $450,000.00 to multiple organizations.

Contestant Search 

 A contestant search is currently being conducted in New Jersey, New York, Washington DC, Baltimore, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and many other states. Contestants are being asked to complete a submission form and a three-minute video of their talent for consideration by a very distinguished panel of entertainment industry moguls.

Contestants competing for the title of Miss’d America 2022 will be judged in the categories of swimsuit, talent, evening gown and must complete a Judges’ Interview.  Along with the crown and sash, Miss’d America will receive $5,000.00 in cash and must be available for multiple appearances throughout her reigning year. First runner-up will receive $2,500.00 and second runner-up will receive $1,500.00.

Miss’d America LLC

A not-to-be-missed entertainment event, the Miss’d America Pageant started in 1994 at a local Atlantic City club and was created as a spoof of the world-famous Miss America Pageant to raise funds for a local charity.

It took place annually on the night after that famous beauty pageant, the joke being that the drag performers ‘missed’ getting into the real pageant at Boardwalk Hall.  It ended in 2005 and was absent from Atlantic City for nearly five years, before making its triumphant return on January 31, 2010 and has grown larger and more spectacular every year since.
